Restaurante Coyas - La Paz

This is a hyper-local restaurant filled with local tourists every night... in February it can be cool – the whole place is open air – and most people will wear winter coats. The owners are rarely here, so the place is guided by the employees who do a pretty good job – but it is about eating. And they are also careful to lower the costs... If you see a table running and sit on it – when you wait, sitting, it will be quickly gone. The best I had here was the shrimps. You get caught locally – this makes this restaurant with some of the best everywhere – because everything you really do with shrimp is broil it... It is about the quality of the shrimp – and these are large shrimps! Enjoy! The flan is not made in the restaurant and is a bit heavy, but good if you want something sweet. They don't have Wi-Fi and they only accept cash. (Dough in Pesos or Dollar)

Good food, traditional Mexican. Tacos very good as well as guacamole and salsa. Delicious margaritas and great service!!!!

We had a great time at Coyas. Good breakfast and better views. You would enjoy a view of the sea while eating a Mexican good food. So I would recommend it!

I have been coming to La Ventana for many years now and Coyas is consistently the best restaurant in town. The staff is always friendly, the food fresh, and the view stunning. I don't know what they put in the sauce, but the Tacos Arrachera is amazing! They are also accommodating of dietary requirements (ie low carb, vegetarian, etc) if you explain. Bonus--if you stay at the hotel, breakfast and lunch are included.

Very nice staff who likes to work in such a beautiful place. Beautiful location on the beach. Food was delicious and service was fast!
