Bidrage med feedbackBest food and atmosphere in Providence Island. When you go in high season, I recommend booking the place (it is super busy). The menu has many options and the portions are good, the deserts are also amazing. They offer life music that makes the entire experience amazing.
Actually, we had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately, 50% of the menu was not available during our visit. Foods we ordered were good, but compared to prices a little too expensive.
That should be the best restaurant in Providencia. The food is not sensational. My fish soup was quite tasteless and the black crab shell was simple and heavy on the stomach. The staff was not friendly. At first they didn't let me in because I was 5 minutes early before the opening at 7:00. When I came back 15’ later, they did not allow me to sit where I wanted the restaurant to be as empty (and still had empty tables when I left). Finally, they asked me how much they could add as a tip. I answered 10% and paid with my credit card. When I checked the document, I noticed that they had charged 15%. I complained, but the waitress refused to pay the difference in cash. I had to call the manager (or another older waitress) and raise my voice until they finally wait for 10’ to pay me back the 5%. Not very customer-friendly....
Really amazing fish and local cuisine went there 3 times in a week because we loved it that much! Pescado a la plancha was my favorite ... also best coconut rice so far! 100% recommendation!
We have the best service here, you need a reservation as the place is full, it was our 2. Favourite food, service was fantastic and the dessert was also delicious, especially the coconut cake, our waitress said, her sister does it and for 50,000 pesos you can order a whole, we will do the next time! Don't miss this hidden jewel!!
