Bidrage med feedbackNice, large restaurant. Went early morning Mothers Day (8:30) for breakfast. Food was good and the waitress was excellent. Negatives: they were very short staffed. Long wait to be seated not because of crowd but no one tending the front of house wait to be seated . No sugar free syrups. Long wait to order. All these could have remedied with appropriate staffing and a couple of bottles of sugar free syrup for those needing it. Very noisy. Overall 4 stars

The food and service were spectacular. I loved the coffee especially. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch!
No wait at all on a sunday morning for brunch! We were a party of 3 and were immediately seated at around 9am. Cute little place tucked away in one of the strip malls on the side of Fletcher Prkwy.I've seen the sign but the front of the place isn't facing the street so I've never felt inclined to stop in. We found this on yelp and decided to finally try it and it was great! Cute decor all around and a night concise menu to choose from. Also bottomless mimosas are always a good sign on a brunch location.I got the plain jane with the sausage and easy eggs. It was all cooked well and the potatoes were cute and yummy. Orange juice was nice and fresh too! Espresso martini was very strong and the mimoa was simple and what you can get anywhere. The wait for food wasn't too long either.Bathrooms are towards the right of the bar around the corner next to the kitchen. They got a little busy before we left so getting the check took a little bit, but overall a great spot and I will def have it in mind next time I have brunch.
Dined here for the first time on Monday morning. It was unusually busy, according to the servers and management. It took a bit for some tables to be cleaned and for us to be seated. Once we were seated, the manager came over and grabbed us drinks quickly. We ordered a specialty coffee and a regular drip coffee. The drip coffee was almost $5 but I feel like that's normal anymore with unlimited refills. The menu is quite eclectic. There were many different selections that you would normally see at a breakfast place, perhaps on the shores of La Jolla or North Park. I definitely think it's an interesting choice to have in La Mesa, but it is beside bamboo sushi who also has some pretty extensive and high-priced items. We ordered the stuffed French toast which was almost $20 $18) and the Southern Fried Chicken Benny which was $19.50. The first, half of the stuffed French toast was definitely yummy with all of the fresh berries, including blackberries and blueberries, mascarpone cheese in the middle and the whipped cream and powdered sugar on top. The problem was when you got to the second half. It was definitely mushy and gooey inside. I did not like the soggy bread. That made the dish no longer appealing. It's quite a small amount with just two pieces of bread cut in half and the fruit in between. It just seemed like a lot of money for a little bit and especially since we didn't eat the other half. On the other hand, the southern fried Chicken Benny was definitely worth the money. I ended up taking half of that home. Their truffle mashed potato balls were really yummy but needed some sort of dipping sauce. The manager recommended either the Chipotle sauce or a green hollandaise sauce. Both were great options. I'm only giving three stars because of the unaffordability. I'm not sure if I would eat here again due to the high prices except for maybe a special occasion. I do love the fact that they offer bottomless mimosas for $25 daily. Parking: There's a parking garage just across the way that most likely you will have to park in if you were dining here.
