Bidrage med feedback3. Once in this restaurant and it will be our last. Although the food was very good, the service and the staff were so incredibly terrible that we only had to say something. Party of 8, we ordered and waited for appetizers for an hour... They were... apparently new arrival parties instead of us. Okay, I get it, a big party with timing, etc., but the problem really started when the dinners were finally served... various employees brought the food as the galley that took the order, and they had no idea who ordered what....and then began to argue with us what we ordered to eat. They forgot a duck, I was about it and they said it was prepared and would be out in a few minutes. 15 minutes later I asked again, they said they were busy and would bring it out when they had time. 25 minutes later I asked where the duck was (it was a burrito) and they said it was our fault to wait so long to say something. 5 minutes later when it appears. Had to ask for the bill 4 times, the same thing she took care of almost all the other tables, then after 2 more requests and another 30 minutes they took the bill.... And added a fee for one of our parties that they claimed they did not pay (we saw their payment in cash before their departure) despite the statement that they insisted that we pay the additional bill. I asked for an adjustment to the bill for the service we suffered through and was rudely said: "You have your food you have to pay" We travel fairly detailed, we were in Troncones several time La and live the place, but have carried NIE what we went through last night. Visit this place at your own risk.
At the beginning of our one-week stay in Troncone's husband and I agreed we should eat every day in another place. When we found this place, it went out the window. We could not stop thinking about the Guacamol tablet with two Salsas, a...Keese dimmer and thick cut blue maize tortilla chips. Once the chips were still cool and somehow soft in the middle. Unbelievable! In our time I had the fish Tacos, herbal enchiladas and husband had Chill rellano and herbal Fajitas. Her classic Margarita was top score, rank 3rd of 15 in Zihuatanejo and Troncones area. Price wise, 1 appetizer, 3 beers, two cocktails and two dinners cost us $33 USD.
The food is amazing and the prices are good! Take out is a great option! It’s family run, and the family lives upstairs. We have watched them everyday from our veranda and the care and pride they take in their restaurant and home is impeccable.
Dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with her family. Servers were very nice, but it took an hour to receive our food. My grandson’s dish took an additional 15 minutes to arrive. Tuesday live night’s Mexican Music was great. The food was generally very good...but Except for the Coconut Flan I would not recommend other deserts. The Chocolate Moose was actually just a chocolate pudding. The vanilla ice cream was OK, but nothing special. Atmosphere is great and lively. Although their dogs are cute, coming to each table many times for attention, and I presume for scraps as well, is not something I enjoy when going to a restaurant.
We tried a few different places during our visit. La Mexicana was one of the better places. They offer delicious drinks with cucumber. The Baja fish tacos were decent, the coconut fin was good. I wouldn't rave over it, but both... options were delicious. Friends saved over coconut shrimps..i has to go back to try. We said Monday night, they have live music.
