Oshokuji Dokoro Asuka - Kyoto

Really few options. Tofu set has dashi. Tempura set came with a soup with dashi. Any hot tofu is with dashi. Tofu cold is veg, vegetable tempura too.

Lots of options. Menu in English. Had udon, soba, tofu set, tempura.

A small.place but wide menu that had a few options for veggies, the vegetable tempura set I had was very nice but there was also some noodle and tofu options . Service was friendly and helpful.

Small resto with only four zashiki style dining areas. The veg tempura bento set was delicious and the perfect amount. Tasty and good value for the low price, just sad we hadn't discovered earlier in our trip, we would have returned to try some of the other dishes.

The food was just tofu and tempura, but the tofu was delicious and the atmosphere cosy. If you’re in the area and want Japanese food then it’s a good little place.
