Eiscafé Imperia - Konstanz

In Konstanz, my first stop for a good breakfast is the Imperia at the Konstanz harbour, unless I stay at the RIVA Hotel. This summer I liked it very well because I could sit outside because of the summer weather. Sitting outside means at a height in front of the location or directly at the bottle mile, but always with a view of the lake. Also at the last mentioned seats we always found it very cozy and who likes to observe how people sit there. The simple plastic chairs fulfill their purpose and the small tables proved too small at our opulent breakfast. For us the chairs served as an additional deposit for the bread basket. Thanks to the flashing young service, empty dishes were always removed. On various weekends we started the day with the summer breakfast for two people (18 euros). The composition leaves no wish open and after that we were always well fed and strengthened. 2 bowls of cereal with fresh fruit, a plate of fresh fruit, 2 glasses of orange juice (not freshly pressed), butter, sausage, cheese, jam, salmon plate, 4 rolls and 2 croissants. We exchanged the sausage in cheese and the croissants filled with jam in rolls. The croissants were too sweet for us. Hot drinks are not included on the deck, I had chocolate without cream (3.30 euros). For 2 servings of butter extra will be fresh 1.80 euros. Breakfast is available from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 10:00 pm. On Sunday the beginning is later (but times no longer know). I ordered an ice cup several times. The quality of ice, portion and presentation is not reflected in my favorite ice cream. Crepes, waffles, sandwiches, toast, etc., on the other hand I only wondered at other tables and satisfied faces never looked.
