Bidrage med feedbackWhat the hell are Galettes? So I know gazelles and the term gazette (iron term for a newspaper). Galettes seem to be such a mix of it, maybe the picture newspaper for hornets. So the big, wide, internet asked and then the enlightenment came to me. A gallette is a pancake from Brittany. The hearty variant of the crepes that we know clearly. That made me curious and I promised. After a felt eternity of arrival and parking search (a catastrophe in the area, especially if the roads prefabricated by the Navi are suddenly not accessible due to construction work) I then drove back into the one-way road then managed to get a parking lot. Fortunately also quite close to the band à Part. Over to the local, which has a very inviting effect from the outside. It might have been something inside, let's say it like that. Rather unusual that the kitchen is on one side and the counter on the other side of the restaurant. Unusually yes, but no point of criticism... :-o Since about 20 people were planned, some tables were assembled so that we sat on a relatively narrow, eber felt endlessly long table row. In my opinion, we have received the greatest criticism. The *Bande A Part* is more suitable for groups. The arrangement makes communication considerably more difficult. While in the “normal” combination with the small tables the whole looks very cozy and pleasant again. The film evenings often take place in the *Bande A Part* can also be immediately suspected. Film posters, props and an old Filvmorductian (or whatever that means) make the ambience a bit unusual, but special. When all there were cups on the table. Now you could think there was coffee, but it wasn't like that. From the cups (traditional) Cidre is drunk, which we could also taste shortly later. 3 varieties were selected: dry, sweet and pear cidre (I have not known yet). I don't need to mention the Cidre tasty, there it was exactly that. But as a driver, I couldn't even try the varieties... :-o Then we could order our food. Crepes or Galette – the selection had to be made. Since much of the map (and also the day offers) were tempting, of course, the choice was difficult. Then I decided for a creation from the table: *Galette with chicken breast and estragons cream*. Since so many orders were abandoned at once, we could only operate in a staggered manner. On one side a pity, but I can still live well. After all, one cannot expect from anyone with approx. 20 Crepes panels or panels at the same time jongling. We didn't have to thirst in time... :-o My food came then in the “seen midfield”. A highlight. Above all, all dishes were lovingly and creatively prepared, each individual. Open, sometimes triangular, square or beaten on one side. Or also like a little cake. You can see that you really think about it and not just work out the complete menu according to Scheme X. Even when I see the photos again you come in temptation of a repetition... :-o But now it was first to try. First I tried a corner only with dough. Smelled differently than a crepes, the taste also reminded me of something, but definitely very well succeeded. At the corners, tomato corners were inoculated with balsamico. Also a loving detail and also adapted to the arrangement. Then I came to the chicken breast and the sauce. A poem... the meat was super tender, but without falling apart. The sauce was amazing. spicy, but without completely covering the taste of meat and dough. Great. Next to me, I was able to review a gallette with shrimp and spinach. That would have been something for me. But I still have the chance to catch up if only the **** with the parking spaces wasn't. If, as I know, Crepes is known only from the numerous Crepes stands, one naturally thinks: “How am I to be fed by the small parts”. But you can only say that if you haven't tried one yet. Because they are really saturating. Nevertheless, I finally wanted to try a “Crepes Suzette, which I also ordered for the film. He was not served flambit, but was still very tasty and a successful conclusion. We then had the choice between two films. A film of a “usual woman” and a cartoon film that was a recommendation from the house. This was then also the choice with min. 13 against the rest of the votes. The canvas was pulled down, the beamer was cranked and then it could go. In any case, the film was light food even if many were able to deter from the statement “French with narrow subtitles”. But with sentimental spoken 4 sentences this was also no problem. However, there is also something that disturbed me. I found the chairs very uncomfortable and was also, during the film, in temptation to get up in between. Still, I'll go there again. And hopefully get a parking lot. Because with the KVB (Cologne’s most crazy construction site) I only drive in emergencies. In any case, thanks to the band à part the pleasant hosting (present, but without affecting).

Today for the first time tested and the crêpes were wonderful. We had a sweet and a hearty crêpe and were not disappointed. Fair price, nice ambience. We like to come back.

Eating is the hammer. Staff very sweet and accommodating. Ambiente is really cozy and clean. I was not the last time.
