Farmers Cafe - Kochi (Cochin)

Located in a charming traditional bungalow in the quieter part of Fort Kochi, but also close to Princess Street, is the Coffee House of the Builder. The ambiance here is lovely, very soothing and peaceful. The dining experience is just as delightful. I opted for fried eggs with toast for breakfast, which also came with a lovely surprise of fresh fruit. My only regret is that I discovered this gem towards the end of my stay and couldn't return for more meals.

I visited the only restaurant in town! With only an hour to spare before catching a taxi to the airport, Farmers Cafe was the last place on my list. I regret leaving it until the last minute; next time I'm in the city, it will be the only place I eat at. The beautiful building with a garden farm houses the only restaurant in the city that serves organic, free-range dishes. They also have their own farm and source from a network of local organic farmers. While other places in the city offer average food in fancy settings, Farmers Cafe serves excellent food in a quiet and relaxed environment. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
