Not a loud environment you can talk to your friends. The staff worked effortlessly on nutritional restrictions. Curated wine selection with good selection. Beautiful addition to Old City, we come back.
What a great experience. A5 wagyu Steak salad appetizer?! Seriously? Tracked with lamb two ways and sweet bread. Everything accompanied by the best Pinot Noir I've ever had. Done it with an amazing apple cake. Friendly staff and great sommelier. Everything you want if you love good food and wine.
Food and service were exceptional. Amazing wine list and interesting value. I would highly recommend the scallops, okra and duck, but I don't think you can go wrong.
We didn't come long after they opened and had the opportunity to sit at the chef's table. It was an incredible experience able to observe how they cook while we ate. It also offered a unique opportunity to talk to them about the different dishes, techniques and food. Everything was amazing and I love their dishes being something you won't find anywhere else. The quality of food is super high and the prices are worth it. The staff was great and the environment is so welcoming and open. We'll be back for a date night.
My wife and I had 5pm reservations at the counter on a Saturday. We had booked this first visit over a week out and the 7pm kitchen-side seats were already gone. The seats were an enlightening and memorable experience, being able to see so much 'behind the curtain '. Anyone interested in all the popularized foodie culture will love the intimate seating. The service was spot on and our waiter was happy to go through the menu extensively. The entrees and menu was so fresh that our waiter had to verify a few items with Chef Paul (who was about three feet away). The crab and fish selection had been flown in that morning. In the end we went with the new appetizer but mostly what we thought were mainstays from other reviews. A couple cocktails, crab claws, hanger steak and the duck, before wrapping it up with the highly recommended and tasty apple tart. Everything was great. We aren 't well-traveled but we 've enjoyed several experiences at James Beard nominated or winning locations and my wife couldn 't stop gushing about how much she enjoyed her meal here. We 'll certainly be back to try some of the more adventurous selections.
