Sanya Sushi Japanese Chinese Cuisine

I have had a lot of sushi in my day in a number of locations and Sanya may be the best sushi that I have ever had. We got a number of rolls to split, the best of which was the Christmas Roll loaded with a number of different seafood options. The servers were extremely friendly, on top of things, and took care of everything we needed without asking. Sanya definitely is on the pricier side of sushi, however, the flavor and service are well worth the cost.

We have been coming to OBX for YEARS, and now live here never ate here until today. Why? The name...one of us eats sushi, the other does not so we never looked beyond the road sign where is says Sushi Bar . Very much our loss.Very nice on the side, and larger then I expected. The service was polite, friendly, prompt, and fast without being pushy. They have what i would call a a pretty typical asian cuisine type menu. Servings are HUGE, well prepared, HOT temperature wise, and very good.As to the sushi, I did get the Yellowtail Jalapeno sushi which was good but not great (that said I am an admitted sushi snob and really only like nigiri style which this was not).Would we eat here again 100% yes without question.

I always have a good meal here. Pricing is good for the area, especially at lunch. Service is good. Clean area and bathroom. I have gotten a couple rolls of sushi each time and have never been disappointed.

My wife and I ate here last evening. Walked in and given a table immediately. Hostess and waitress were very nice. Spring roll was good. Excellent spicy California roll and my wife had an outer banks roll. We split General Tso’s chicken. All good food at reasonable price.
