The Egg I Restaurants - Kirkwood

We went on a Saturday morning and there was no wait, which was really nice! The waitstaff were prompt and friendly. The food came out aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Bacon Avocado Scramble; it was pretty good, other than the avocado on top which was really unripe/hard. The scramble itself and the English muffin were great. My friends ordered a Corn Beef and Hash Skillet, a Spinach/Bacon/Mushroom omelette, and a Eggs Benedict. They seemed to really enjoy their entrees and their time here. I've attached (poor quality) photos of our entrees, to give a general idea of their portions and aesthetics.

Nice environment, decent prices, would love to have more egg options or perhaps build your own omelette type options. Not every breakfast has to have a designer orientation. Nice attentive server! Overall nice place for a good breakfast.

We went there for a quick bite. We got Wisconsin omelet it was very delicious. Cozy place with good service.

My friend and I had an early lunch here today upon her recommendation. She had always enjoyed the locations in Colorado. We were not disappointed. What has disappointed me many times in the past is the quality of the Biscuits and Gravy dishes at several other establishments. Not here. The biscuits were soft and fluffy. The gravy had just the right amount of kick and flavor. The two over-easy eggs were perfect. The potatoes were good too. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. As we left, my friend and I both agreed that we'd be back. The menu has a lot of things I'd like to try and several that my friend remembers fondly from Colorado.
