I had an incredible Gammon Steak last night, expertly cooked by Mike and served by Jill, who took great care of me throughout the evening, ensuring everything was just right. Hannah also did a fantastic job of keeping my glass full. What an outstanding team! Thank you all for a wonderful evening. 5 stars!

The restaurant isn't inexpensive, but the pâté and fish and chips were outstanding. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the service was both friendly and flawless.

The appearance of the pub doesn't quite reflect the quality of the food served. We enjoyed some incredibly delicious meals that truly capture the essence of classic pub fare. I regret not taking any photos to share, but I highly recommend visiting. The venue could use some updates, though.

This is a small, cozy pub where we felt welcomed even though it was full. The portions were generous and well-prepared. The owners and locals were friendly, making it a pleasure to chat with them. The only downside is that there's no parking available.

I have to say, I find the last review amusing. The commentator presents themselves as a professional, but their comments are quite limited and demonstrate a lack of understanding. It's unfortunate that they arrived too late for lunch and chose to vent their frustrations online instead of coming back during opening hours. This establishment has been a favorite of mine for several years. Yes, they have traditional hours, but they also embody traditional respect and values, and their food is truly exceptional. You won’t find better steak, fish and chips, or gammon anywhere else, and the welcome is genuine. It’s the best family-run pub in the area.
