Scotts Courtyard - Killarney

Had drinks here one night and thought we would come back for food as it looked nice. Wife had pizza which wasjust OK. Base was poor. I went for goujons with their 'stealth fries '. The fries were greasy and overcooked and far too many crispy bits. Goujons felt chewy and seemed to be cooked in the same oil as fries wbich left a weird aftertaste. Service was decent and friendly but the guy who showed is to our table was audibly chewing gum.

We had just arrived in Killarney and were just roaming around looking for a place to eat. Scotts looked great but looked packed! Thank goodness we asked John Sullivan who was at the door if he could find space for 12 of us! HE did! He opened a whole other room for us and found us 2 huge booths and made sure to come back and check on us to see if we had our orders taken and then again to check to see if everything was ok! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. They had live music in the courtyard, so the seats we were in, we were able to hear the music and still have a great conversation! The food was good and came quickly! If we are ever back in Killerany, this will definitely be a place we would go to again! And thank you John F Sullivan for making sure we got a table, or in our case, 2!

Do not stay overnight at this hotel! There is no respect for the paying guests. If you are in your room before 11 pm, then it is like being at a rock concert. There is no possibility of relaxing, watching tv, or sleeping! Disgusting. Would never stay here again.

We had a very nice afternoon watching International Rugby at Scott’s. We sat at the bar and had a really tasty good quality lunch. The lunch menu was very good with great choices. Food great quality. The bar was comfortable and the toilets were spotless

I don't normally write reviews or anything like that but I just have to say that me and my friends are disappointed with the service at this place. so we invited our friends to sit down and have a drink with us, security guard immediately came and kicked our friends out because he wasn't wearing rabatin pants.... it would not have been a problem otherwise and it would have been understandable if the people who were sitting around us and even the guy with us were not in the same pants as our friends. the security guard kicked them out just because they are from bulgaria.! And we were feeling sooo embarrassed. But they just leave the place cuz they understand what is going on... This kind of the place as they call themself 5star hotel should not treat people like this you all know what i mean..... Never coming back there!!!!
