Ekolu Kitchen1279 - Kīhei

We really enjoyed visiting Ekolu Kitchen 1279 for the first time. Food was very nice. I’d skip the Cesar salad I got no anchovy flavor in the dressing. Lamb appetizer was very good and we enjoyed a flatbread, though really just a small pizza. Service was very good.

At this time Ekolu opens at 5 p.m. for a fantastic Happy Hour. Happy Hour is over at 5:30 but we'll worth going for. Great food, drinks and service! Nice variety of food. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful evening on the patio. The music was wonderful but too loud for conversation. It was very busy and while our waitress was very nice, we waited a very long time for drinks, an even longer time to order, and we never got our appetizer before they delivered our dinner. The food and cocktails were fantastic. Fortunately we were not in a hurry so had a nice leisurely dinner.

I had a super excellent time at Ekolu, the food was amazing, food came out fast, prices good, music good. Will be coming back a lot.
