Khao Sok Riverside Cottages

Beautiful environment! What a beautiful place. The cottages are super and the restaurant has enough choice and good food! We had been here for 3 nights (actually we were supposed to stay 4 nights but we left a day earlier). We did a full day lake tour, that was great! With the house you are really in the middle of the jungle, which we thought was super cool, but we left earlier due to little possibility in terms of our own hunch. There are plenty of activities you can do from the resort, but you can't go anywhere easily yourself. Other than that definitely 5/5! Rooms: Nice rooms, but all beds in one room, as in the photo. Nearby activities: Enough activities from the resort, less on your own initiative Walkability: Brought by taxi, there is a small village 10 minutes away (by taxi from the park) but that is not extremely large, you have seen that in an hour Food drinks: Super arranged! Great cottage rooms on the riverside and amazing excursions! We did the overnight at the lake, trekking on the falls, canoening in the river and the lake, trekking in the forest at night and 4hs trekking in the forest during the day! The food at the hotel was also pretty good! Of course, keep in mind that this is a very rustic place to enjoy the camping life style in a small wood cottage. No payments with credit card, only cash and it is not cheap Hotel highlights: Quiet

Bad service. Beautiful location. Owners caught in a money fever. Moderate houses. Roof leaked. Accommodation and excursion on the lake is ok, nice but very expensive. Food drinks: Moderate, breakfast not included. Pleasant in itself, but due to location not really a choice to go for a better breakfast location. We had a very nice stay at Riverside Cottages. The rooms are neat. A bit outside the center of Khao Sok. Nice and quiet, you imagine yourself in the middle of the jungle with vegetation and animal sounds. The raft houses are great too. A bit further away in the park but therefore in the middle of the wildlife. Monkeys and elephants seen! Nice tours and also time for relaxing, swimming and canoeing. Also just eat well.
