What can I say? This place was amazing for two reasons. On October 13th, after marriage to Mrs. Ruby??????? I had a surprise for her, Pete sold us an hour with pizza, beer, $20 in quarters, and some sounds, but big loud rock, iron Maiden, Ramones and The Cult. Eating was killer and the feeling of the place for me, felt like I was on the day of my life as a 49-year-old teenager!? December 18, my 50th day, my daughter took me up and took me for pizza and wings here. Then brought me home to a surprise party they all planned. Joystix Rockade is not just a washed-out pizza joint. What this place is, for my way, is a real life, breathing, microcosm of the last time that people remember my age when the world was best, the 80s! So if the occasion requires authenticity, check Pete and his crew. Best chicken wings in the Tri-States!
Best Rockin Arcade in the area, no doubt! So many flipper machines it is hard to believe most of them work. But they do. Not to mention the Tron game I haven't played for 25-30 years. And many other classics too. Even if you had to drive a hundred miles, it would be worth a trip.
This type and place is fire and there is a reason why this place is super AF. Peter was super AF. The staff was amazing and pizza made me almost inappropriate things for me. Definitely a 5-star-kid-friendly spot with amazing music that everyone can cool out just to music alone. Vintage soda machine WHAT! And free water. Pool table. How dare I never come back. Great. The most fantastic pizza place on the planet hands down. It's not just the Perfection of the pizza, which is the best! It's the whole atmosphere. Late 80s style hard Edge. A huge collection of vintage arcade games! They offer the only completely vegan pizza for over a hundred miles.
