Clay Oven Pizza - Kensington

Saw the really good reviews and thought I’d try this place out. Ordered the salsiccia. Worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The pizza was burnt on the bottom, the sauce was acidic which told me it had not been cooked properly, and the “sausage” was not real sausage. It was literally a grey colour and it tasted off. I got 3 of my family members to taste it to make sure I wasn’t going crazy and they all spat it out. To the restaurant’s credit, they were kind enough to refund us. This isn’t real Italian food.

Me and my friend had great time at Clay Oven Pizza. The atmosphere is fantastic. We enjoyed every single slice. The best pizzas in Melbourne definitely

Simple but yet nice and comfortable place. And most importantly, Prosciutto Bianca! Best pizza in Melbourne by far and best pizza I have ever had.

This place. I cannot even begin on how cute and rustic it is. Beyond that the food is just absolutely amazing. Hands down the best pizza..well to be honest not only the pizza but everything there is just reaaaaaallly good. And a small shout out to the people running the place you guys were really nice, added on to the whole experience of eating there! Really would recommended 10/10 for anyone looking for some great pizza this place is a must visit

We stopped by for an after work quick dinner. We used to order fancy pizza here. Clay Oven serves amazing Neapolitan pizza. Yummy bread and great mozzarella make great meal. Place is great and very courteous staff. I am coming back!
