Lou's Cafe - Kempsey

Step back in time at this charming restaurant with vintage decor and classic movie posters. The coffee was good and the meal was well worth the price. I ordered the grilled Barramundi, which was so fresh it practically melted in my mouth. My husband enjoyed his T-bone steak with crispy chips. Don't miss the massive and delicious prawn cutlets. Overall, a fantastic restaurant to visit.

Adorable retro restaurant and cafe. We had breakfast at Lou’s and it was a lovely experience. You’ll feel like you’re back in time with the decor and soundtrack. Def recommend a visit.

Fabulous local Kempsey iconic cafe's. Lou's Cafe has amazing country service with a smile. Delicious food, we even met the owner Lou who actually lives close to our beautiful old house in the country. The decor is incredible, movie posters adorn the walls. We will definitely be back. There's been a change of chef at Lou's cafe. Beautifully presented food, absolutely delicious as always. One of our favourite local establishments

Great food , really good coffee, great atmosphere, good table service. Plus wine and beer. Pasta dishes, and wonderful deserts.

This Café restaurant is fantastic! They are open all day from 7am to late for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We went there for afternoon tea and the sandwiches, muffins, and milkshakes were delicious. The decor has an art-deco Hollywood vibe with lots of historic movie posters. It was definitely worth the drive to Kempsey.
