Komatsu Japanese Market - Kelowna

This cozy sushi restaurant and Japanese market can accommodate around 20-24 people. They offer takeout options, making them a convenient choice for neighboring businesses looking for a quick lunch pickup or larger sushi plates for office meetings. We visited on a Wednesday at noon and found the restaurant to be not too busy. The service was friendly and our orders were prepared accurately. The presentation of the dishes (as shown in the photo) was impressive. The taste, in my opinion, was average (around 3.5 out of 10), but everything else about the experience was excellent. We were even treated to complimentary green tea!

We attempted to have dinner at a BBQ restaurant that I had heard about, but unfortunately it was not open for dinner. Instead, we decided to try out the Japanese market located in the same parking lot, which advertised serving food. Upon entering, we found a dozen tables and a wall displaying items for sale from the market. We placed our order at the counter and were impressed by the beautifully presented sushi rolls and the attention to detail in arranging the ingredients. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal and found the prices to be reasonable. We also purchased some pops from the market that had glass ball bearings in the opening, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend trying it out!

On Friday at 430 and had the #3 combination for 15 dollars. First of all, I fill a person, I barely went through them. I was the only person there and it took just over ten minutes to place it. A bit on the slow side, but it was worth it. It was excellent. I don't always eat sushi, but this is one of the best records I had in Kelowna right next to the 911 reels in Yama. It was a nice surprise and it was very fresh. The location is clean and clean and seats approx. 16. Open until about 530 on weekdays and I will not hesitate to return.

I love stopping in at Komatsu for a quick, healthy bite that's inexpensive! The brown rice sushi option is awesome and I love their spring rolls!!
