Dreher Cafe Backhaus - Kehl

Beware of the cook.___Very nice operation, only the cook penetrant Intrusive, cheeky, and man__must be made to get puffed by him in the cafe in front of all people!___Herr Dreher is informed about it, but does not take against this person!

Unimaginative, tasteless, and expensive. Nothing like the lovely meals pre-Covid. Very disappointing that such a nice restaurant has gone downhill. They also had no record of our reservation, despite it being confirmed a week prior.

Good ambiance and nice variety of pastries. The service is good and the price is affordable. Recommended place to have a tea time with friends in a small city like Kehl with a little of choice.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch and went to the back in the garden area. It is beautiful. The trees have been grown over the roof to make a canopy for the back area and it looks perfect. Nicely tucked away. The food was really good and well priced too. We just had a few simple pieces from the bakery but they were delicious.

We wandered Kehl's pedestrian mall and needed a short break. Dreher's was exactly what we needed.We ordered coffee while sitting outside and realized they had a wide variety of baked goods inside. The outstanding choices exceeded my German vocabulary. I went inside and identified a few baked goods by pointing at them. Our waiter cheerfully brought them out.
