Yumcha - Katy

Very clean and service was good. The drinks were yummy too.

The supreme passion fruit tea was absolutely delicious and the boba was so fresh! The inside of the boba shop was clean and there was a decent amount of seating and access to outlets in case you want to do work there. I definitely think this place ranks in my top boba shops!!

The Asian lady that works there is very rude there are two girls that work there the other girl is nicer when is there ordered my drink I asked her the chocolate boba latte they did not put any boba in my drink so I called back and told her and she told me that's my fault didn't offer to remake my drink or fix the issue very rude customer service if I can give this play zero stores I would they should treat their customers nicer she didn't even offer to remake my drink that's why I came in there was for Boba

Disappointed. The alley has a much better milk tea. Half suagr still too sweet. Brown sugar milk tea has no taste of brown sugar. And boba is too soft.

I've always known that Yum Cha existed from the Bellaire location, but never actually stopped in until it opened up in Katy (which is where I finally decided to check it out). I'm all about the cheese tea, so of course I had to try their Cheese King Fong Oolong. Would highly recommend for anyone who's in a similar boat. Their fruit teas are also pretty good (very on par for your average boba shop), but I always have to decrease the sugar content (my sweet spot is somewhere between 30-50% depending on my mood). The shop has some pretty cute décor, and it's a decently sized space so social distancing wasn't an issue.
