The Local Katy

A great bar option in Katy. Their cocktails are beautifully joined together and have very inventive flavors. Your menus are more oriented towards appetizers than a drink then dinner, but everything was very good. A good bar in Katy that is not a sports bar is hard to come. I would recommend this place for drinks and appetizers.

Freshly made drinks, good live music, indoor and outdoor seats, server was attentive, but not annoying and made great food and drinking recommendations. The Blueberry Basilikum Limonadedrink is refreshing.

My staff and I come here after a happy hour. Food is great, but service could only improve a bit. Some days it is really good and other times, we need to look at our waiter. Parking can be difficult, but this is expected in this area with so many other shops/restaurants.

Longtime fans from The Local Bar here in Katy, but they are more than fresh, pressed juices and handmade spirits, their tapas are absolutely delicious. So make sure you have a goat cheese with Brussels sprouts pizza or the jalapeño hummus y?all these never disappointed. It's worth noting that I didn't think I liked goat cheese until I tried tonight and my goodness this the only way I like my pizza from now on on. So seriously, a must try!!!! Their happy hour drink specialties are fantastic even on Fridays, so we can flick Friyay with amazing people, super awesome live music, chill ambiance and black cherry and white claws, so no excuses stop by.

Service, food and drinks are excellent!!! This place is a great place to meet someone for drinks, a little nibble or a full blown meal. We sat on the patio which which was covered and had ceiling fans to keep us cool even on a hot evening. The happy hour had many specials on appetizers and drinks which apparently change daily. The beer selection included domestic, import and local craft on tap. Lot's of parking with a parking garage near by so even on busy days and times it shouldn't be an issue. Would highly recommend.
