Our server, Charlie, was the best server we have ever had. The ambiance and views were incredible. Food out of this world. Must go for sunset

We had a reservation for 5:15. We planned to go for a walk first but due to rain in the area we showed up at the restaurant at 3:15. We told the hostess that we had the later reservation and that we would like to sit at the bar for a drink before our reservation time. She informed us that we could be seated immediately at a table and we accepted. The restaurant was nearly empty with only a few people scattered at different tables. We sat and ordered a round of drinks. As we began to catch up with each other we ordered an appetizer. We then ordered a capreze tomato salad and a bottle of wine. As we finished our salad we ordered a second bottle of wine. While we waited for our server to come to take our dinner orders the manager came to our table and told us that we had been there for two hours and he needed the table at 6:00. We asked if we should order our food to go or should we just go somewhere else? He said no to both and said that we could order but we still had just 45 minutes before we had to leave. I have never heard of such a thing. Our friend, who live in the same town as the restaurant, was embarrassed as he recommended the restaurant for a nice dinner. As we ate the manager stood next to the bar and several times looked at his watch. At exactly 6:00 he returned to our table and told us that we had to leave. We had just finished eating and we were never offered a dessert menu of asked if we would like some coffee. He may be better suited as the manager of a fast food restaurant. His actions were rude and very unprofessional. He also managed to ruin an otherwise very nice afternoon and meal that was to celebrate a long overdue reunion. Everyone else at the restaurant was very nice. Our server was a very nice young woman. She was very attentive and was very pleasant. The food was delicious and the view was the best. Our total bill for our two hour and forty-five minute meal was a little over $300. I also left an $80 dollar tip for our server.
