@eknumbercafe the latest entrant in the cafe scene of the city and how could the @agrafoodsters not cover it... Starting with the thing that makes it stand out location, design and ambience.. At Diwani crossing, this rooftop comes as a boon for those in that part of the town no more crossing an overcrowded MG road to have some chilled out time. And with a cosy, relaxed feel plus luxurious AC cabanas, believe us when we say your summers are sorted! The menu covers just about everything continental, Lebanese, Oriental, beverages and of course as the name itself says Indian, which is definitely their speciality. And while on Indian, have to mention the Dal Makhni. It is very different from the thick variety commonly found.. this creamy yet light variant is served over a tealight and keeps bubbling as you eat cute isn't it : Also the little strips of naan that accompany it, literally take the cake.. err bread : Don't miss this one. The shakes are another thing we highly recommend pure thick milky cream .. you will love it! The other things we had included Bittu ki tikki an old Delhi staple Lasagna, Pizza thin crust if it isn't thin, it isn't a , wild mushroom bread and Risotto in continental. Quite a variety isn't it! Veg salt and pepper, Thai curry and fried rice in oriental. The Red Thai curry is again something recommended by us. Try it! The Indian was completed with Malai kofta which was crisp outside and soft, crumbly inside and an assortment of breads. The round of came with phirni, which was real original phirni and not kheer passed off as phirni. The service was extremely efficient, the staff well trained and courteous and made extra efforts to cater to the number of clients who were walking in. Full marks for that. Food is just awesome. I wish I could have your restaurant food on train for 3 people. my train is about to arrive at Kanpur Central Railway station in next 45 minutes.
