He made pleasant conversation with us while he also made fresh shoyu poke which we bought and ate just minutes later, definitely the freshest and freshest-tasting poke I?ve ever had. It made me feel silly for paying more for much, much lower quality stuff in the lower 48.

Amazing Marlin Cerviche and Ahi Poke fresh off the boat last night available at the tent at the corner of Kopiko and Pulani near the Toasted Roasted cafe. Best we?ve ever tasted. Support the local fishermen and go visit Sawyer if you are here cheering on IM Kona.

Freshest fish on the island sold by the actual people who caught it. They offer great service, great advice, and will often cut the fish fresh while we wait. And they have great cooking recommendations. I don't know why you would go anywhere else on the island to buy fish.
