Marias Mexican No 4 - Joplin

Since the relocation to this beautiful standalone location, we've been curious about how Maria managed to accomplish this. The former spot on 32nd Street was convenient and had its own appeal, but this new venue is absolutely remarkable.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere that set high hopes for a great meal. Unfortunately, the food fell short of those expectations. My beans were served cold, and the rice tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out for days and reheated in the microwave. Overall, it wasn’t a very enjoyable dining experience.

I just enjoyed a wonderful lunch featuring cheese enchiladas, beans, rice, and corn tortillas. The service was outstanding, and I can confidently say this is the best Mexican restaurant in Joplin!
