We enjoyed our dinner so much in Fat Hen that we at the end of lunch brunch on the way out of town. We were in Sanctuary and came a day before our band, so we went from Iceland for a little local taste.

My husband and I are from Connecticut and this was our first time in Fat Hen. Everything was great. We have the farmer's plate and crab soup. The farmer's table top consisted of home-hardened meat, accompanied by pickled vegetables and fruit. So many unique and different flavors. Crab soup was butterfly heaven. For dinner we had the meat leaf and lamb. My husband thinks my flesh is better, but I have to say I'd love the reception for the collars. What did they do to them? All right. I helped my husband with the lamb. A very healthy part! It was accompanied with veggies and cheesy geese. The combo was sooooooo good! Everything was great, but this shaft was the best. In the mouth melted! We couldn't get a dessert. Too full. I'd come back if we ever make it to Charleston.

We decided to go to Fat Hen for our 48th Wedding Annivesary. As usual, the food and service was excellent.
