Bro's Gyros - Janesville

I love and recommend to come here. eating is amazing and the staff is very friendly. freddie (the owner) is super covered and great with its customers. he actually made a trip to the food store so he could make my order of my favorite gyro bites. 100% dedicated to the happiness of its customers!

I ate here several months ago under a previous owner and it was average. The new owner has my repeat business. I had a regular lamb gyro and it was deeeelicious. The basket comes with seasoned fries, again deeeelicious. Three guys ordered in front of me and yet my order was ready in reasonable time.

Updated Review 9/21/17: These Freddie Fries are delicious! This is definitely worth the $5.50 and is a good portion for lunch. The fries are topped with nacho cheese, gyro meat, bacon, and cucumber sauce. I finished this and kept wanting more. I'm coming back for this. This is a clean, cozy spot. It may get too cramped to eat inside, but ordering food to go is pretty quick. The numerous items on the menu makes me want to come back quickly. Fried chicken, catfish, Philly's, Gyro meat served in all sorts of ways. I had the Gyro Basket with Fries which I enjoyed and would recommend. The gyro was a good size. The meat was flavorful and the cucumber sauce gave it the creaminess it needed to keep it from tasting dry. They give you a generous amount of sauce but I wish I would have gotten more on the side. If the gyro doesn't fill you up, the fries will. You can tell they try to make these unique which was apparent with the seasoning. The location may be tough but it's worth trying out.

I had a fantastic experience with the gyros at Bro's! They are large, flavorful, and packed with plenty of meat. The fries are also delicious, but don't forget to order a side of cucumber sauce for dipping. The Freddie Fries are an incredible treat on their own, loaded with fries, gyro meat, bacon, cheese sauce (which is the best I've ever tasted), and cucumber sauce. Absolutely mouth-watering! I can’t wait to try their gyro bites next time, as I’ve heard wonderful things about them! The restaurant itself was quite clean, and I was impressed to see the cashier carefully changing her gloves every time she left the kitchen to take an order. I really hope Bro's Gyros stays in business, as Janesville definitely needs a quality gyro spot like this!

Wow! This place is truly fantastic! The gyros are massive! The customer service is outstanding—extremely friendly and attentive. They even helped us by bringing the food to our car since we had our twins with us. They were also very kind to our 5-year-old. I highly recommend this restaurant!
