Casa Maria Mexican - Jacksonville

We were so glad to know that Casa Maria was reopened. The service was wonderful and they have the same friendly owners we have known for years. The interior is rebuilt and the menu is extended, but it is basically the same place we have loved for years. Definitely a place to try if you love Mexican food.

We were looking for something near my husband's office when he had to pull something out of the freezer. He had the Taco sampler and street horn, I had the corn, tampale and chicken fajita. I took the whole Fajita home. It takes days. His mother had a taco, salad and two of his tacos. She was hungry when she pretended.

Food and service are great! We were very pleasantly surprised! It had a really funny atmosphere and the food was an excellent value. We highly recommend it and will definitely visit again!

2/21/23 A few weeks ago came here with another group of friends and returned today with others. service today was better; I was greeted when I came (not before) and our server was attentive (not before). Everyone liked their food and some even had a recording box for later!

Great atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and professional. It appeared to be a few regulars enjoying themselves there while I was there.
