Jake's 58 Casino - Islandia

Although this time we did not stay over, we have done so in the past. Rooms are nice and big. The restaurant has great food and is not a bad price. The service is hit or miss. You're either rushed out of there in 20 minutes or you don't see ANY servers for 40. We didn't hit it big like a friend of ours (they won $21k), but we walked away with some extra spending cash. Rooms: Rooms are nice and updated. Have all the amenities any standard hotel has. Food drinks: Food is always good. The menu is small, so it's easy to go through and find something you like.

This hotel is extremely outdated. I arrived at this hotel at 4am so it was my only option that was close to the venue that I was traveling to. If I would have known the condition of the hotel I would have preferred to sleep in my car for a few hours of sleep. The bed and linens were terrible. The room had not been cleaned properly and there was evidence of drug paraphernalia inside of the room on the floor when we arrived. There was also lotion on the walls throughout the room that alerted me that housekeeping does not pay much attention to detail when cleaning. The next morning, I alerted management with the issues of my room and she gave me two breakfast vouchers for $15 each. This hotel makes a lot of money due to the Casino, the hotel should spend more money on major updates. I would not recommend this hotel.

Horrible phone service. Over an hour no answer and the general customer service agent just puts you on hold. Even if you wanted info, its virtually impossible. This is the armpit of casinos Service: 2

The Best Local Casino on Long Island. Despite not having too many eateries, the options for slots are great, and the roulette area is my go to! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Ok casino....although this is the closest to where I live....lots of slots... for me there were lots of new slots and I love to play new slots and played at casinos all over the world Location: 3
