I recently visited two Dunkin' locations at rest stops, one on the northbound side and one on the southbound side, both with connected convenience stores and gas stations. In the past 40 years of traveling on this route, I have seen these rest stops change almost 40 times. They have often been busy and dirty, with bathrooms that left much to be desired. However, these Dunkin' locations had fast and friendly service at the gas pumps, despite the small parking spaces and maneuvering areas. The restrooms were clean despite the heavy traffic, and the convenience stores were busy but well-maintained. The staff efficiently managed the lines and kept things moving smoothly. Overall, my experience at these rest stops was perfect and enjoyable. My wife and I have visited many places over the years, and this time everything was exactly as we wanted.
We were left standing and waiting for a table because the server saw us right behind their last customer. Instead of acknowledging us, she walked away until a worker reminded her to assist us. She was not very friendly or polite. However, the service was great once we were seated, and the coffee was large.
I go to this coffee and breakfast spot every day. It is a must for most Americans who need a pick-me-up. The atmosphere is more relaxed and less hectic. It would be great to have more tea options available.
