Short's Burger Shine - Iowa City

We went too late and they were from burgers. Depending on the day they are super busy. Nice to get some food. Try the Cerro Gordo chicken sandwich that was fine with grilled patty and bacon. The Grand Junction-Bohnenburger on the other side was quite delicious. Last time I tried the Dundie Burger who was amazing. Here I stay at the Burgers.

Had the tropical junction black bean burger which was delicious! The pineapple jalapeno salsa tasted so fresh and had a nice kick. Our server was very tentative and also the fries were yummy. I would defiantly come back.

Loved this place! Burgers were fantastic and very good sized for the price we payed! Very casual environment with lots of large screen televisions for watching the Game! Service was awesome and server was very friendly and accommodating to our needs! Will return!

Good burgers. Excellent selection of beers to choose from. Crowded, loud and dark. Staff friendly and attentive. Great place but not a five star establishment.

I got Jamaican burger in a wrap and my husband got the Defiance burger. Both were good but I thought my burger lacked a little flavor. It was cool the way they wrapped it in a wrap so the sandwich was round. My husband's burger was juicy with so much bacon he shared some with his wife! The fries were handmade with skins on and not really soggy or greasy. Interior is like a bar and dark and we almost walked away. Glad we didn't! Server was a great young man who handled himself very well! My Cocoa Stout was rich and mellow.
