Loch Ness Inn - Inverness

Family dinner whilst on holiday. Solid food, nice venue reasonably priced would recommend. Portion sizes good for the kids the burger is huge!

Should have realised there was an issue when I got in the shower and the temperature was already at the hottest setting. My shower was at just above cold not even tepid at that hottest setting. Hot water from the tap was barely warm. There's a big problem if you can't get a hot shower. Service was great and the room was fine otherwise. Just fix the hot water

Lovely, the perfect cross between a pub and a restaurant. Staff were very polite and professional and fitted us in at short notice as walk ins. Food was cooked beautifully, we had lamb and beef and both cooked to perfection, tender and extremely fresh and amazing gravy! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the lack of vegetables, there was only one small parsnip and one small carrot, although both delicious, i would have liked some green on the plate, maybe some green beans, asparagus or leafy veg. But all in all a well cooked delicious meal.

This is what a quality three star Inn should be. Great rooms which are well designed, clean, Highland modern with very comfortable beds. The menu was varied and our vegan options were great. The staff were all very polite and good humoured. The hotel is situated on the edge of Drumnadrochit so is well away from the overcrowded attractions but close enough to walk to.

We stayed at Loch Ness Inn for just one night but liked it very much. Our room was beautiful and clean. Everything was very modern. There was also a big parking lot for all the guests. They offer toast, cereals, coffee and juice for breakfast and in addition you can choose from a variety of breakfast options (we liked the egg benedict). Check-in and Check-out can be done online!
