Augie's Pizza - Independence

I give places like augies 5 stars the same reason why I do everything: consistency. I never had a bad pizza here and they put the pfefferoni in front of the cheese that makes a world of difference. the crust is sturdy and holds up to all these beats. it's my work, easy.

Last night we had a party of augies for 50 people. we had a lot of compliments on how good it was to eat. ed (manager) was very efficient and good to work. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about augie’s pizza. I have been eating there for several years since I live and work near the independent restaurant. I've never been disappointed by everything that was ordered from their menu. very good meatballs and pizza.

As many others on here, I stayed at a hotel in Independence, and ordered Augie's online. I am just finishing dinner now, and wow. They delivered it to my hotel room, and my pizza was piping hot. The crust is fresh, medium fluffy thickness, and not greasy at all. The topping, sauce and cheese all likewise taste fresh and quality. The sauce is savory and brings visions of Italy while eating. The cheese is delightful, and layered on thick. I ordered a number of toppings to meet the $15 delivery minimum, and it was amazing. The toppings are placed under the cheese, and I had no idea how good it tastes to have them basically saute in the sauce and cheese during baking. I ordered online using some app, but the process was a breeze, and my delivery time was half of what they estimated (no complaints there, this girl was hungry! , and the delivery guy was extremely polite and pleasant. My only regret is that I normally live 2 hours away.

Flew from California out to Cleveland for the week to visit family. I stayed in independence. Ordered pepperoni pizza to go. Got back to the hotel and it looked like cheese pizza. Turns out they put the cheese on top over the toppings. Never had pizza like this before. Have to say this was one of the best pizzas I have had. Very friendly workers. Even offered me a free 2 litter since it took longer than expected. Didn’t take the soda, but pizza was worth the wait.
