Bidrage med feedbackOn U! Happy's first training for core members, we needed a filling and delicious snack while we learn from two speakers. It was my second time to indulge in Yellow Cab's new line of products, called Borough pizzas. Its inspiration came from New York’s various location of Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. Yellow Cab made a new line up generously topped pizzas, each one offering exciting toppings. So our team had the Manhattan Steak Eggs Pizza, Queens Oriental Chicken Pizza, and Brooklyn Spicy Seafood Pizza. All three were in large sizes, 18 inch in 32 party cuts pieces for just Php 999. All varieties presented distinctly addictive flavors, each one with its own character. I also love the creativity in the combinations. We also had four kinds of wings, 10 pieces in each box for just Php 399. Amongst what I had, the New York Bbq and Garlic Parmesan was best.
Ordered for delivery the largest box of New York's Finest, Pepperoni and Cheese and two orders of Charlie Chan. Hot fresh pizza is best eaten right off the box, pipping hot. Time of delivery was well within the given time frame. The only hiccup would be the request for extra ice which the rider returned for in the store. Good thing delivery address is near so he returned with a bag full of ice in no time. Could have gotten the request right on the onset. If so, this branch would have rated higher.
Dear darla.... i love you!!! My favorite pizza in yellow cab paired with their sriracha chicken wings. A must try combination believe me, but the pizza itself is a little oily so maybe use a tissue haha.
Was glad that their Dear Darla serving was complete with arugula and alfalfa sprouts. When i tried this at Recto, only arugula was added. It was so good that after finishing one regular box, we trooped to the outlet and ordered another box along with chicken wings and the staple four seasons. Pizza was better with a glass of San Mig light.
Another alternative if you want to take a rest from Pizza Hut hehe.. Actually, i don't like their pizza, I prefer pizza hut for pan pizza or shakey's for thin crust, but what I do love from this place is their pasta. Aglio olio a little pricey for a simple pasta BUT I am most willing to pay because it taste sooo good. Other version are either bland or too spicy. They perfected the taste of aglio olio...flavorful and just enough spice to keep you going and going until you finish the whole damn thing. By the way, their serving is already good for two. However, I don't like their garlic bread (I assume it is their version of garlic bread) I don't usually eat it because most of the time it is hard as a rock. You can also add shrimp if you want but it will cost you more. Chicken Alfredo this is for all white sauce lovers out there (including me). Again, just like aglio olio, other versions are too creamy and bland (nakakasuya), but this one is so good. I like their version because it comes with chicken and black olives plus the cream is not heavy. Mango, bacon and egg folded pizza intended for breakfast but they can serve it anytime. My friend introduced me to this and I always order this whenever I visit Yellow Cab. The sweetness of the mangoes blends well with the saltiness of the bacon and the egg neutralizes it all. Very filling if you want a heavy breakfast. I strongly recommend this one. The place is just okay, nothing fancy, just straightforward decors with murals on their walls. However they use paper plates and plastic utensils which I don't like the idea at all. Servers are quick to place orders and attend to all our needs. Will definitely come back.
