Fantastic steak!! will be returning on my next visit to costa nova Portugal.

Delicious paella, good quantity and good quality ingredients. Just a detail, the time on TA is wrong and we arrived and it was closed, we came back later and had dinner. The waiter was very attentive!

I have eaten here many times over the years and I have always enjoyed the food, especially the grilled squid and fried octopus. The waiters are well mannered, portions generous and the ambience is nice. Sometimes it can be better on some days then others, but generally 8-9 times out of 10, it is a very good restaurant. Unfortunately on my last visit, I ordered the squid and fried octopus, the squid was great as per usual, lovely grilled taste, soft and delicate, however the octopus had a very off-putting taste to put it politely, the chips were also slightly raw and rushed. As I have eaten this exact dish at this establishment on numerous occasions, I can be sure that this time, it was not correct. I must say, I did not feel bad after, although I didn't eat the octopus as it had this sour flavour that was incredibly strong and pungent. When the waiter collected the dishes after we had finished, the fried squid, costing circa 17-18 euros was untouched. I mentioned that it was not to their usual high standards as it had an unpleasant flavour. The waiter did not apologise or acknowledge the complaint. I am a polite and courteous person who made sure to tell them quietly and with education as not to offend or put off other patrons. Unfortunately when the bill arrived this item was not discounted off and I did not feel comfortable to complain again as I had already done so. I guess it is at the discretion of the management. There is certainly no language barrier as my wife speaks native tongue is Portuguese and I speak it to an intermediate level as well. Im giving three stars because I would return again as previous meals have been much better, however I will not order the octopus again. I would advise the management that if a recognised customer who does not enjoy and eat a particular dish for fair reasons, they should acknowledge that, apologise and automatically remove it off the bill.

Very nice place with excellent food, and the waiter was just fantastic with the service and the help with our baby.

Outside space dog friendly, please take well behaved dogs only. Great food friendly service. Free Parking outside. Near the beach.
