Bidrage med feedbackI recall my first BBQ experience. It was hot, passionate, a little too fast, and I kept apologizing for getting sauce on the people around me. Then, I had a series of terrible, horrific, confusing, mediocre BBQ experiences that left me feeling broken and in need of divine intervention. But then, I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Like before I met my wife, I never thought I would love BBQ again. Smokin' Hot BBQ changed that. Also, my wife played a role in that love. Their perfectly smoked brisket, the delicious chew of their pork ribs, and the expertly smoked turkey breast (so juicy that I believe Biggie Smalls wrote his song "Juicy" about it) all won me over. And don't forget to try the poutine. I'm not typically a fan of fries and gravy, but there's something special about theirs. Maybe it's love, maybe it's magical pixie fairy dust, who knows? All I know is that you have to try it. Oh, and their lemonade is a must-have. I'm not sure if it was made by an 11-year-old or a very young-looking middle-aged woman, but as long as they keep making it as good as they did, I am happy. I plan on going back to try their burgers after chatting with the passionate pitmaster. The burgers looked like a slice of heaven (though maybe not to a Hindu). Overall, I give this restaurant a perfect score of 50 out of 50. I would definitely go back again...and again...and again...and to infinity.
Great smoke flavor! I haven't visited the new location across the street yet. The smoked brisket, turkey, mac n' cheese and more are all awesome. I highly recommend checking it out! Food rating: 5 out of 5.
I only purchased 2 pounds of smoked brisket during my visit, so my review is solely based on that. Unfortunately, the brisket was very dry. Based on other reviews I have seen, I believe this may not always be the case. I actually enjoyed the staff, decor, and their dip. However, I can only give a rating of 3 out of 5 due to the dryness of the meat. It would be beneficial to implement more quality control measures to ensure that every brisket has the same texture as the best one served that day.
Outstanding! We have discovered this gem in Huntsville this year and have eaten here several times. The food and service is 5 star. We also had the opportunity to meet some of the family members that run this family owned business and saw first hand the amount of work that is involved. The pit master Larry calls it a labour of love, and you can tell his heart is in it 120%. Pictures speak a thousand words, well look at the platter my family enjoyed today on the last day of this season. Looking forward to the 2023 season opener. Cheers to the owners and thank you.
Absolutely amazing! Got a one person take out and it was more than enough for my husband and myself! Beautiful views also!
