Mick O'Shea's Irish Pub

Went to lunch with my family and friends. Polite friendly staff, good food. In time for happy hour what could be better. Always recommend the pub to friends.

Walked into a vast dining space, empty except for one table of 8 at far end. waited in vain to be seated, moved to dining order counter waited waited ignored by kitchen staff visible through opening, after 10 mins walked back to lone staff member at bar, he called another staff member from out the back they arrived, but she was not familiar with the ordering system , finally ordered lunch and sat ourselves down, food when it arrived was okay ,husband really enjoyed his steak and Guinness pie, I had two entree,s chicken satay and the croquettes which were tasty,drinks ordered at the bar arrived with a smile. staff still absent but some seen chatting to friends way over at the bar most of the time we were there .We were asked how everything was when plates eventually cleared.meal was fine but staff need to make you feel more welcome,and notice customers standing around waiting for service.

Good wholesome food. Good service both at the table and at the bar. Not too sure about the entertainment. Could do with a better choice of musician.

Mick O'Shea's has really stepped up! They use high quality ingredients that ALL restaurants SHOULD be using! Not low quality quickies like processed ingredients and condiments like most Adelaide restaurants use and over-price.Mick O'Shea's food is high quality, home made (I can tell the difference in my mouth and from the after-taste) dishes for the right prices and makes the rest of Adelaide restaurants look silly.Mick O'Shea's is Melbourne-quality food and this is what I enjoy seeing and so I will be back.Thank you Mick O'Shea's for good quality food.I enjoyed the gnocchi and then the delicious gin and tonic tart! Those dishes were to die for!The downside I would have to say is the heating was not working at one end of the restaurant (the opposite end of the building where there is no fireplace) on a cold wet day which did not make my partner happy. PLEASE get the heating fixed ASAP! We did not know there was a fireplace at the other end, as your staff did not bother telling us. Please in the future, tell your patrons where the fireplace is exactly if they ask why it is cold inside the building! This is why I gave 4 stars.Other than that, most of the staff were really nice and professional and we appreciated that and the food was top notch! Don't ever change that, ever.

I recently had a dinner at this Pub with a large group of friends. There were around 20 of us that ate meals here for dinner. The menu is not large, but has plenty of options. This also includes Vegetarian and Vegan options. The drinks were nice and cold, and also not too pricey. I had the Chicken Schnitzel that was served with a lovely salad and chips. The dressing on the salad was amazing. The other meals from my friends also received the thumbs up. These meals included, the chicken BBQ Pizza, Chicken Laksa, Pork Belly, Salt and Pepper Squid and the Pork Sausages with a Honey Glaze. There was also a serve of Garlic Bread that was very yummy. The service from all the staff was awesome. If there was only one thing that was a little of a let down, was the live music starting up whilst we were still eating. The music was soooo loud and we could not talk. I understand the music is a draw card, but maybe have it start a little later? We then went outside to the beer garden to escape the music, and the night was then good.
