Agave Azul Kitchen Tequila - Hughson

The food is always good here. The servers seem flustered every time we come. We asked for a straw for our daughter's water cup times. My husband ended up attempting to get one himself because we were seated outside, they said they would bring it to him and he said we never got a straw until we asked four times and waited over 15 minutes.

The cups used for water were dirty and still had lipstick marks on them. The table was broken and had to find a spot to place our drinks so they wouldn't fall. Service, food and drinks were great but lacking on cleanliness and their care of their furniture.

The place was nice, but with all due respect, my birthday was ruined by the limited time. Although I read the policies about time and the limit on the number of people in the email confirmation, I don't agree with these restrictions because they emotionally affect the attendees during the event, causing stress. I understand that they do this to maximize profits, but I believe that the customer's peace of mind and satisfaction are more valuable. Of the 15 guests at my party, many more potential customers could have been gained through their recommendations, but now these 15 will not return due to this poor experience. Therefore, I do not recommend hosting large events here. Instead, I suggest the restaurant ‘La Parrilla' in Oakdale, which is excellent for big celebrations. Personally, I prefer La Parrilla and will not return to Agave Azul for special events, as they do not feel special at all.

They didn't have almost anything we requested. Im from Cali but live in TN now. I came out to visit and all I wanted was a good margarita and authentic Mexican food. They didn't have frozen margaritas. They didn't have guacamole hot sauce. They had black beans in half the menu. The Verde was horrible. They're basically an overpriced chipotle.

I couldn't give it high five, because we ate good Milanesa y Chile relleno and sope combination, but the long faces of the waitress and never been ask if we wanted a refills or not, we always say NO, WE DIDNT GET THE CHANCE OF SAYING IT.
