Bidrage med feedbackDairy Queen in Westerville, Ohio, is not just an ice cream joint; it's a portal to cherished childhood memories. The classic DQ treats paired with the welcoming atmosphere take me back to carefree summer days and after-school delights. The friendly staff and consistent quality make every visit a trip down memory lane. It's more than just ice cream; it's a taste of the past that never gets old. Highly recommended for a dose of nostalgia!
Went through drive thru 2/8 order came to$32 and some change. I gave the girl a $50. Apparently they have a policy that they don't take $50. Now I can understand that if I was purchasing a cone or something small. My change would have been less than $20. Common sense is not at play with the Red head male manager with facial hair. As he needed to shove one of his teenage employees out of the window to inform me of this policy. Mind you he couldn't show me anywhere on the drive thru window signage of said policy. Just stated it is corporate policy. This man must think people are dumb, DQ is a franchise. They do have a corporate office and as a corporation, they don't have this policy. I called. I'm not sure what I'm upset about the most. I'm pretty upset for the girl that was pushed out of the way. As a mother and a manager that wouldn't stand. Or am I upset that this man bold faced lied just to be a jerk. Sadly after years of coming to this location, I will not be returning. I will be letting my other mom friends in the community know this isn't a safe place mentally or physically for your teenage to work.
Had the absolute best experience ever at DQ today. Took my son to get an ice cream cake for his bday. The female employee offered to write on it. She talked with my son about what he wanted, added balloons (and ever offered to cut of the pink balloon! , and offered an ice cream cone! He was so happy when we left!! :
I love Dairy Queen and have been a Dairy Queen customer for over 70 years. I even worked in a DQ when I was in high school which was way too many years ago. In fact, I'm so old that I remember when cones for 10, 15 and 25 cents and milkshake was 30 cents.Needless to say, prices have increased but the Dairy Queen treats are still a treat. Back in the olden day, DQ didn't serve any hot food but the Grill and Chill locations have both the frozen treats and hot food. We like to stop for a burger and fries and then top it off with a Blizzard. My favorite is the Choco Brownie Extreme made with chocoate ice cream for a chocolate lover, this combo can't be beat.
I've been going to the DQ since the 5th grade. It's always good!
