Bidrage med feedbackThe happy hour drinks were priced well and the saag paneer, goat curry, chicken tandoori, and butter chicken were all fantastic. We were pleased that they used dark meat for the chicken tandoori as white meat tends to be dry. Our only issue was that the tarka dal was too watery and resembled more of a soup.
Really great food, very attentive service. Very recommended.
The Indian cuisine at this restaurant is decent. It may not be exactly authentic British Indian, but it's not bad for the US. The food was generally good, with my lamb rogan Josh being particularly delicious, though not very spicy. However, my wife's herbal curry was quite bland with no spice or heat at all. I wouldn't necessarily choose to go back, but I wouldn't mind joining if friends wanted to go.
It’s just ok, the chicken currys are just average! Did not feel something special in the restaurant just okay. Maybe the sizzling dishes are the strongest dishes in the menu. The staff was chatting between each other while customers were eating. The idea of the restaurant English and Indian is very cool, I don’t know about the execution of the concept. This restaurantes is no my personal cup of tea! But maybe other ppl can enjoy it!
No doubts at all, food is excellent. But the day we visited it was super busy and only 2 waiters among approximately 10 tables. Though they were trying their best. Hopefully managers can have more waiters during those busy times. No one at the front counter when we arrived. Waiter there for about 10 minutes for someone to show up. This restaurant does take open table reservation but the person who showed up at desk told us they don’t have any reservation from us. Glad the wait time was only 12-15 minutes.
