Bidrage med feedbackThanks to Schwager Craig T, my wife, and I must enjoy the luxury of the Hawaii Air Lines Plumeria Lounge. The hotel is located on the third floor in Terminal 1.Very friendly staff and comfortable seating. They have a range of drinks, including beer, wine, soft drinks, milk, orange juice and coffee. Minestrone and cream of mushroom soup were available. Maui Macs, Tillamook cheese, rubber and chips are included. Thanks, Hawaiian Air and staff Leimomi, for a wonderful and cozy stay.
I am grateful for visiting a lounge that offers a little food and drink. If I visited other lounges, I would say that there is no quality experience. The food was just fine. There was a long waiting period, as explained, the Plumeria Lounge was international for the travel business. With all open places in Terminal 1, I want to see a lounge for First Class and Pualani travelers, which is more like the Delta Lounge at LAX.
Beautiful small self-service lounge at Terminal 1 on the 3rd floor where the Wiki Wiki-Shuttle Pickup/Drop off is. You can go from Terminal 2 (about 9-10 minutes) or take the shuttle here. You have to drink Maui POG hard Seltzer, Maui Brewing Camp, Heinekens, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Otherwise, soda machine and water, coffee and tea. They had Yakisoba, the Bland, ham and cheese sandwiches, pastries and other small treats to eat! You sit depending on your party size so you get a special place instead of looking for seats. Clean yourself and enjoy!
First to get 6AM for an early morning flight and was actually excited to visit this lounge. Unfortunately, it was an underwhelming experience. We were greeted at the entrance and informed about where you sit and also to ensure that you put your dishes in the pink bowls. In other words, do not sit in the reserved seat (which is everywhere), where you want to sit and clean yourself. I didn't eat anything from the food, so I can't check it, but it's MINIMAL. No alcohol is also served until 10 a.m. So, water, soda and coffee for you. But hey, the bathrooms are super clean! I guess as this was the Hawaiian Airlines Tower, I thought it was the envy of all the restaurants in the airport that WOW would fly you with them and be able to use the lounge itself would be a perk. But really everything you get is a quiet room in uncomfortable chairs to wait for your flight. I wanted to go somewhere else urgently, but in this hour nothing is open. Don't get me wrong, I don't ask for a Luau show in the lounge to entertain me, but what I say is that there is nothing Hawaiian-Esque about the lounge or the more important, nothing about the rich culture and heritage that Hawaii and Hawaiian Airlines made what it is today. So, if HA really reads this review, everything I can say is better and not compromise with your services outside of flying. Actually, we flew the first class back to Texas and you know what? It was a big flight, but what I pay is an AWESOME around the experience. In any case, 5 stars for the flight and 3 for the appearance lounge.
Food choices were the same as yesterday, fried noodles fruit in the morning. There is a separate area reserved for Hawaiian first class passengers. Priority pass is allowed but you may have to wait outside a while. Beer and wine are free and self serve, there is no bar.
