Laurence - Honfleur

We just accidentally bumped into this tea house, restaurant or whatever, since it looks like a pawn shop. We were lucky to make a reservation for the next day, since there is only 5 tables with 14 places. The place is run by only a...lady with her 7 years old daughter playing around, but the food is DELICIOUS. She speaks only French and takes only cash, but it worse it!!!

My wife and I visited this lovely tea room in 2014! I know it's late but I had lost the receipt this lady had given us till today. I'm dutybound to tell you all about this hidden gem. at the time this was a quaint...bijou establishment with a warm and genuine welcome from the lovely host. food was delicious and was served with a smile. Salad starter, home made tagliatelli carbonara and choice of deserts. couldnt fault a thing. we enjoyed this relaxed lunch at Honfleur which is packed with tourist traps and much more expensive cafe restaurants. If and when we go back to beautiful Honfleur we would love to go back again.

Installés à Honfleur depuis 4 mois , "Laurence " est le premier restaurant dans lequel nous avons déjeuné en découvrant Honfleur il y'a 2 ans. La première impression est toujours la Bonne . Et depuis cette première visite nous nous faisons un plaisir de conseiller ce restaurant à nos clients . Laurence est une personne très attachante autant par sa personnalité que par sa cuisine .Pas d'hésitation un accueil chaleureux , une cuisine maison succulente et une atmosphère familiale .Si vous passez à Honfleur posez vous le temps d'un déjeuner vous ne serez pas déçus . I went today with my sister in this apparently nice and cosy tea room.When we entered, we didn't find ourselves welcomed. The owner didn't even look at us and rudely told us that it was closed, even if there were people inside and the door was open. She could've been way more polite and gentle in telling us that the place was closed or full, but she had already gained the amount she needed for the day, which is the only thing she apparently cared of.We are very sorry to write this because the place looks really nice and welcoming, but we went twice and both times we felt really unwelcomed and uncomfortable. If you run a public place you should know how to deal with customers and she definitely doesn't know how to.

Jolie découverte Le menu etait très bien et vraiment bon, quant au cadre.. nous avons adorés.Je recommande cette adresse
