The Drydock Seafood Spirits

Piper is an excellent server and bartender. He offers great service was a smile. The food is very good, try the fish and chips and of course the crab soup.

We had the fish and chips and shrimp basket. Both were good, but parts are small. Also the fish and chips did not come automatically with the chips! You had a choice of chips or Cole Slav, but not both! We would definitely eat again here, but order a page of Fritten to eat enough next time!

Finding a good meal that won?t break the bank is a challenge to Hilton Head safe. We found one here at Drydock. We had the fried green tomatoes, a burger and a group sandwich. All were very tasty and came nice and hot. The service was very good and we felt very well cared for. We're definitely coming back.

My mother and I went there on Sunday at 2:30. To be honest, I was a little worried when I entered and the place was empty next to a few sitting in the bar watching the game. The bartender greeted us and allowed us to sit. We were able to order the whole menu, even if it was? not technically dinner time, what was nice. We started with a soft pulp with beer butter, which was really good. I had the fried seafood plate and my mother had the grilled grouper. The food was so fresh and came out very quickly. The hush puppies were soft and fried shrimp firm and not soggy. The bartender kept our drinks full and was very personal. Overall a good, low key place to get a good meal.

After reading some reviews I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and seated within a couple of minutes. I ordered shrimp tacos and my husband had the fish and chips. It looked like a small portion but was actually very filling. Then I ordered the brown Betty it was big enough, with some to spare, for two. The food tasted very good. The waiter was terrific, very friendly and courteous. We will eat here again when we are at Hilton Head.
