The Struy Inn - Highland

The struy inn is a lovely inn right at a single track road. Karen and her husband are lovely hosts! The food was outstanding and i fell in love with their haggis. What an incredibly special place. The two owners are just delightful! So sweet! We also adored their passion for birds and falconry. While they no longer do shows, it was sweet to hear a bit about their story. Now to the food: They nailed it! It was the most scrumptious and tasty Scottish dishes! Love! Love! Love!

Right, I like food, scrap that, I love food. I have been lucky enough to eat in many lovely places but this has to be the best 3 course meal I have ever had. Karen and Jim have created a wonderful place to eat and the food is incredible. Do yourself a favour, go visit if you happen to be anywhere nearby. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was blown away by my experience at this restaurant. The service was impeccable and the staff took great care of us. They were very attentive to our allergies and the food was absolutely incredible. From the crab Mornay to the perfectly cooked venison and sirloin, everything was top-notch. The selection of vegetables was also delightful. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. The staff were very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions, providing clear explanations and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Parking was easy to find and there was plenty of space available. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. The price range is £40-£50 per person, and both the food and service receive a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was also fantastic, earning another 5 stars. I would recommend trying the Beef Wellington, Haggis, and Fish and Chips. The restaurant offers free parking in a spacious parking lot.

Karen and Jim were a pleasure. They were both very kind, and the food was exceptional (truly the best haggis we've had in Scotland!). The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and their service and generosity exceeded any expectations we had. I highly suggest dining here if you're in the area, as it's definitely worth the trip.
