BEST pub in the area as popped in for a pint at the start AND end of bike ride. great beer, nice outside decking area and pleasant staff. Will return to enjoy the live music and food. Much more than a hotel bar.

Amazing food, especially the local seafood and the best chips we’ve ever had with good portion sizes. Family friendly and dogs are welcomed. Live traditional music makes for a great atmosphere and we had a lot of banter with the staff. Oh, and lots of yummy vegan options too.Thoroughly recommend a visit.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere when there is entertainment. It is a good place for a jamming session and catching up with friends over a few drinks. However, the food is only average, more like something you would find in a supermarket. Frozen chips? Really? The portion sizes are also very small, more like a kids meal than an adult portion. The prices are quite high as well. The staff is a mix - some are friendly, but others make no effort at all. One server didn't even bother to acknowledge me or have a conversation when I pointed out that a side dish was bland and undercooked. She said she would tell the chef, but then walked away while I was still talking. Later, I noticed that the dish was still on the bill. Overall, the experience was disappointing in terms of the food and service, but the atmosphere is great when there is music playing.

I had a wonderful lunch served by incredibly friendly young women! I will definitely be returning soon.
