Ixtapa Family - Hermiston

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. My only issue is that it takes a long time for the waitress to take our order. Additionally, my drink will often be empty unless I flag down a waitress for a refill. I find myself constantly having to ask for service throughout the meal. I wish the service was quicker and that my drinks were refilled promptly. Interestingly, the busser seems to provide better customer service than the waitstaff. Perhaps she deserves a promotion. I will definitely be back, but I hope to see improvements in the service.

Despite having to comply with COVID restrictions and offering service in a tent, Ixtapa has been successful in creating a personable and welcoming dining room experience. The food is always exceptional and I highly recommend trying the prickly pear margarita, which is my personal favorite. Ixtapa is definitely my top choice for dining in Hermiston!
