Wilton At Castle Lodge

I arranged a lunch here for my walking group of 40. The meals were excellent and served by friendly staff. It was a most enjoyable occasion.

Would eat here everytime I was in the area, food is very tasty with good size portions and quality....served in a realxed area.

A very pleasant dining experience with a fair choice on the menu for these reduced Covid times. We choose the barbecued spare ribs which were excellent and other foods in the restaurant looked and smelled good. We did not have to wait long for the food as the service was very good. We followed the ribs up with an excellent cheese board and a glass of Malbec. A big bonus for us was no shrieking uncontrollable children in the dining area as they tend to go for the hotel chains. All in all a first class meal at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended for dining if you are in the area.

We ate in the restaurant the second evening of our 2 night stay at the hotel and wished we had eaten here the First evening too! Freshly cooked to order, we thoroughly enjoyed our food. The restaurant was quiet and we were did not feel hurried, service was relaxed and friendly, with the hotel owner happy to have a chat.

We really covered a lot of the menu between us and we were never disappointed. Food expertly cooked and happily eaten. Service with a smile and pleasant banter if appropriate.
