Much improved menu since previous report. very nice staff, but annoying puppies everywhere, the atmosphere ruined. I think they should invest in puppy-catchers? other than that, only a few drinks and a flammable cake came to 25euros and in terms of worth this was not great.

I stopped here because of fast drinks, maybe it was my third visit to this place. Very simple work with German efficiency and good value for money

Went for a business dinner at this super atmosphere location next to the impressive burg, now a youth hostel, with a great view over heppenheim and further afield. we sat outside to appreciate this view until it became a hauch cool. inside it was a bit. hard and ready. easy to eat, but authentic carving, chips and salat. greasy but delicious. I also liked the offer of beer. the disappointing aspekt was the service, unmiling and even a touch disorder. surprisingly, since our group in the evening brought a good piece of business into the pub if otherwise it would have been empty. overall ok, but some investment in environment and service would not go amiss.
