Bidrage med feedbackSmall owner guided sushi restaurant in Bergheimer Straße not far from the central Bismarckplatz with its numerous shopping facilities and the beginning of the pedestrian area. As is common in Japanese restaurants, there is a rather restrained, reduced style of furnishings, here in black red and only some bona fibrillas loosen the strict ambience somewhat. In addition to the normal menu sushi, soups, dumplings, ramen...... there is a lunch menu at any dish of tea and soup at discounted prices. We were kindly greeted and were allowed to choose our place ourselves, as at our early visit at 12 noon all tables were occupied, we chose one directly at the big window. In addition to the normal tables and chairs, you can also take on the only knee-high tables that are on pods, legs are placed under depression, or at the sushi bar place. In front of the restaurant there are also some seating options available in good weather, directly on the busy Bergheimer Straße. Due to the rainy car traffic, the also trafficing trams and the many pedestrians, we chose a quieter place inside. We are most often interested in experimentation, and we are in favour of one of the Japanese knee tables, they were quite O.K. for the comfortable, pampered middle Europeans as we are, in the long term, in need of reconciliation for longer sitting. When we wanted to order, this was not quite simple, which our service power understood only very little German, we got a block with pen laid down and we pointed to the numbers of our dishes. We divorced for : Sashimimenue Misosuppe , Sahimi, Nigiri and seaweed salad, tea good portion but very small. Beef Ramensuppe large bowl fragrant, spicy broth with vegetables, beef strip and lush ramen noodles very good Sushimenue 2 Misosuppe, sushi and mackerel, Wakamesalat and green tea well, but tightly dimensioned so that we still ordered Fuji slices with chicken meat filling, teriyakisauce and sesame tasty. Everything was served on arranged black plates. Jasmine tea, peache and apple juice choir accompanied our meals.

It's been a long time since we were with Sakura Heidelberg. In our last attempt, despite reservation at this time, we were sent to the annex in the old swimming pool 60m in Bergheimerstraße, where the first opening day unfortunately not a day of joy for us as guests (and probably also for the staff). Yes and since then we held Sushi Fast in Heidelberg. When my son invited us to lunch in Heidelberg's gastronomy on Monday, Sushi immediately came to me: light, but still saturating and if it were really good, a small culinary hi-light. There are, of course, several restaurants that try Sushi – where it was still unexplained. But as on Sunday evening the son of Bismarckplatz was whatsappte, the hope for the Sakura was already glorified. We are arranged very punctually at 12:00 as there, the Sakura opens at 11:00 and we are probably the first guests, are welcomed with friendly pitches and look for a correspondingly inviting gesture of one of the small four tables with an overview of the restaurant and place for a stroller. (What is not easy in HD . On the table there are already two places with a place dish, bowl for soy sauce and washabi, sticks and red paper napkins – very simple. There are also four menus on the table, a table with lunch menu, ballpoint pen and small brewery block to select the desired sushis. It hasn't changed anything here for years. The map is significantly more extensive than the previous map, which can still be found on the website. After closing the website, the operators as another restaurant still have the “Mr. Zhao Nudel Show” towards Bismarckplatz. The dependency in the old swimming pool (a picture with the aquarium is still on the site, but is no longer displayed. We note our Sushi Coins on the small notebook, with the menu M8 is the best offer for me: a daily soup, a tea, salad, 5 Nigiri and 4 Maki, as well as two fried dumplings (for from the store 12,80€, I hope that every decision-making sword will spy between the wide range of Makis. The note is picked up and shortly afterwards the drinks, specific, fanta, water are cooled to the table. Speaking of cold – unfortunately the room temperature in the restaurant is quite cold at this time – a problem we had here in recent years – it was too warm. The narrow, long hose-like base area with the electric sliding door as an entrance should be extremely difficult for air conditioning – a gas heating is not in vain at the very nice place in the entrance area. The service works fast, very quiet, but with friendly smile, not necessarily professional, the inlaid ginger comes to the table almost afterwards. The soup to the lunch menu comes first. The day soup has some leek, spring onions two three small tofu dice and tastes really good for the first time. It is probably not a Miso soup, at least I don't throw fish, but chicken – but without meat. Also the soup does not come brothing hot, but very pleasant to eat tempered on the table. The soup is not eaten completely, as the menu comes in a Bento-like square China lacquer box – in the middle a very small Klacks Wasabi, in a small depression a sweet chili sauce without big sharpness – I assume for the two fried dumplings. They look very tasty, are not particularly big – suitable for sticks – and the presentation appeals to me that I think only after eating the first dumplings make a photo of it. The salad is finely cut Frisee and fine cucumber slices, with a very beautiful aromatic dressing – because the dressing is not salty, but slightly sweet with minimal sharpness, I mean that can be here. Hoisin or Worcester Soße is here – in any case very tasty (and the sauce is also on the cooking salad my wife ordered, with the cooking salad there are also fine sliced slices of salmon. Everything is ideal for eating with bars. The four Maki – inside out are super fresh, the Sushireis has the pleasant light Essignotes that I either missed with other sushi providers or that was just too strong – here it is wonderful in the mouth. The size of the maki also fits – not a “cropper” that is barely manageable with sticks and completely blocks the mouth. The Nigiri – here are Shake (Lachs , Ebi- (Garnele and Unagi (Gebratener Aal -Nigiri) – are also top in presentation, handling and taste. The fact that the Klacks Wasabi fell a little small on my menu can be compensated by my son, where the Klacks were too big. While I'm already at the dumpling, the other California Rolls, the very large shrimps Temaki bags and stuffed shrimps come to the table – and then the incubators and the delicious cup of tea that belongs to the lunch menu. Since we are invited, I can say nothing more about the costs – the map currently available on the Internet is no longer the current, far more extensive stand. From my point of view, the Sakura, with small weaknesses in the service, still represents a certain reference class in the now regionally very broadly represented sushi offering – so sushi – to use a well-known advertising slogan.
